Dominique
I would describe my classmates as kind-hearted, down-to-earth people that are willing to help their peers along the journey we are all on in a selfless, loving way.
Neanta
My classmates are beautiful and talented people that have tangible goals, aspirations, and passions from all different backgrounds and cultures; they also are willing to help those that are a bit sluggish to catch onto academic material and do not discriminate based on ethnicity.

At Saint Joseph's University we have a diverse student body, however one common trait I believe we all have is passion; whether it be passion for academics, music, athletics, health, or any other area of interest students at Saint Joseph's have a passion and drive about them.

Most of the students here are white, upper-class or upper-middle-class Catholics. However, the student body seems to be getting more diverse. Even if you aren't the "typical" St. Joe's student, you won't feel out of place. Most of the people here are friendly and accepting of all types of people. So far, I haven't met anyone who has experienced a problem while going here.
Most SJU students are from the Northeast area (PA, NY, NJ, etc.).
There isn't a typical style of clothing that students wear at SJU. While going to class, some people dress up, while others wear sweatpants or pajamas. There isn't a particular dress code that people abide by. The only common apparel that will be seen on campus is SJU gear. People often buy SJU apparel at the SJU bookstore, so St. Joe's shirts can be seen on campus everywhere!

Most students come from higher socioeconomic backgrounds but for the most part everyone looks like a regular college student-lots of sweatshirts and loungewear during the week. The business school students are generally more career focused upon graduation time and are involved in going to career fairs and on campus interviews.
We have a few sororities and Fraternities and they dont have formal houses so you can find them at large tables in the student center during the middle of the day (11-1)
Racially, the campus is not as diverse as it could be but the school is trying to work to make the campus more diverse. We have groups and clubs for all minority groups on campus and they work to host events on campus as well.

Almost all of the students at SJU are caucasian, and there are not many from lower income families due to the high tuition costs. It is a Catholic school, so many of the students are Christian, but definitely not all. We are actually required to take a religious difference course, and I am currently learning a lot in my Islam class. Most students come from middle or upper class families, but students of different types do tend to interact. Most girls get dressed relatively nice for nice. Most students are in the center and are not really politically active.
Matthew
These people want to get an education.
Frances
my classmates are reasonably helpful and career focused.
