Describe the students at San Diego State University.

I'm one of the few black students in class, so I find it unbelievable to think I don't stand out. There's little diversity, and it feels like no one's doing anything to make it jump up from its 3{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}. The LGBT community gets hate mail and crimes against them, which shows how indecent all of these little homophobes are. I think the students that would feel most out of place would be the black students like myself. Forget the homosexuality or the feminism. Being dark skinned makes you stand out. Of course there's different types of student interactions. It depends on the individuals. As for the dining hall, it depends on which place you go to. If you go to West Commons or Ciucuicalli, you'll find the jocks and the dorm kids. If you go to Aztec Center and East Commons, you'll find everyone else. Most SDSU students are from up north, most coming from well enough families that their parents pay for tuition and registration fees. And not all students are politically aware nor active. They hardly know anything unless its required in a class. I don't know if they're liberal, conservative or whatever. Most students I've talked to say "Get that money" but we really have no idea how much we'll earn in our respectable positions.
