SDSU encompasses many different kinds of students. There are students who focus on business or international relations. Then there are some students that focus on science. Others focus on theatre. SDSU dosn't cater to just one type of degree, there are many opportunities for students and it is easy to change your major or take classes ourside your major.

My school is very engaging. There are people from different cultures. I love the diversity. There are lots of opportunities to make yourself successful: excellent professors, career fairs for internships, organizations to join, and the faculty is very helpful. In general, it's a school dedicated for your prosperity.

I thought the campus was beautiful, and I like the location. What I have learned about the school now is it is the only Cal-State that offers my major (Classics), and that to me in itself is worth it.

The atmosphere.

The atmosphere at my school is extrememly friendly. It is unlike any place I have ever been; the people are all friendly and laid back. There is an emphasis on school work but students understand that we are like our own community for the duration of our college years together. At San Diego State we have a unique bond that is different than other anyother school I have ever stepped foot on. It is a special feeling to be driving down the freeway one hundred miles from school and still see another drive wit a San Diego bumper sticker.

Jacob

It has a lot to offer geographically as well as socially. You can go to the beach, Desert, Downtown, the options are endless. The campus itself is always growing and renovating itself with new buildings gong up and remodeling of older buildings. It's very tech friendly with wifi in almost all classrooms and "smart classes" strategically placed around campus. It is also very visually diverse with a Mediterranean garden, small cottage setting, and modern architecture. It has a little bit of everything to accomodate everyone.

Jaron

The one thing that comes to mind is diversity. SDSU really opens the doord to all who really want to be here. I remember how scared i felt the first time i step foot on this campus, its size was breath taking. My fears promptly disappeared when i realize i wasnt alone. It really is amazing to look around campus and see that there is not a single group who is not represented.

Lisa
