There is always something to do at SDSU. No matter what you are passionate about, there is somewhere you will fit in. If you are willing to put in the time and effort, you will be rewarded when it comes to your GPA. There are several ways to study abroad and the staff will help you find the best place to go that will fit your school plan.

Christine

San Diego State has a lot to offer students and is well connected with the city. There is always something going on on-campus, whether it's a basketball game or a concert. Also, San Diego State has the reputation of being a party school, however there are plenty of students who are academically focused, and plenty of things to do that don't involve drinking.

Laura

I live by the beach and get to obtain a great education at the same time. We have big lectures, but at the same time we get the chance to sit in small classes and get our opinions heard. There are tons of departments and classes to choose from, that sometimes it is hard to pick out classes. And even though it is an impacted campus, I still get all the classes I need.

Blair

I dont this school as pushed me so far away form what i want to be that i have repeadedly want the drop out and just get a job. I am smart enought to do what i want and this school has done nothing but introduce me to drugs and taken my money so that i know stress about were to live on a daily basis when i run out of rent money. So in short i dont brag about my school

Ana

SDSU is a great school, people just need to focus and stay on track. SDSU has excellent professors, very intelligent people, however, it is a party school, therefore students need to stay on track and never forget that education is valuable.

Carlos

Vanessa

I would say that I talk most about the friends that I have made here and the beautiful weather/

Kelli

It's always nice weather-wise down here. When making my ultimate decision, it was between San Francisco State and SDSU. I don't think I could have handled fog everyday. Right now it is November, and I'm wearing shorts and going to the pool still. Also, most people are good-looking down here, which is weird but nice.

Moises

The Chemistry and Biology Laboratories are top-noch, the University is beginning to only accept the "cream of the crop". The Aztec Recreational Center is one of the best work out facilities I have ever seen. The professors may not be very well known experts of their field but they bend over backwards to help out their students.

Anna

I say that San Diego State University is a fun campus, and there is lots of opportunity to do whatever makes you happy.

Jeannette

I love to tell them about all the international students at SDSU! The International Student Association is very awesome when it comes to assimilating American traditions. For example, last semester one of the events was prom. Everyone dressed up, bought their tickets, and voted for prom queen. I was actually one of the runner-ups for prom queen. It was a terrific event! I'm not an international student myself, however I love to meet new people, learn new languages, and experience different cultures.
