I hate FIN 350 and DS 412. Pointless classes

Don't let US News ranking fooled you on SFSU. It is a good school with some of the best professors I have met.

I just really want to Study Abroad. It's hard to make friends but it's one of those things where you have to do it on your own, and trying to force us to hold hands and jump doesn't really help when you don't live in dorms (*referring to orientation* I seriously met no one from there). I made friends with seniors/ people leaving to graduate and upperclassmen before making friends with people who were freshmen. =\ To which I must say, that I don't regret, but, when you make friends with people about to leave more, then it makes it difficult when they leave... but that's another story By the way, I'm irritated about the book that we were told was required for this year and wasn't even mentioned by our professors. Many of our professors didn't even know about the book... I'd prefer compensation for making me waste time reading that (when I could've been reading some other books that I'd prefer to read). [The book didn't even make sense to me.] However, I realize asking or even mentioning compensation would be pointless. I should get over it... But I could've spent that eleven dollars on Japanese Kanji flashcards instead which somewhat irritates me more =\ What adds fuel to the fire is that we were told that it was "required". Anyhow, no offense to the professor who wrote it, but I actually finished the thing... and my friend who didn't even bother buying it, was in a way rewarded, while I was punished for listening. I suppose that's my mistake. Again, thank you for listening to my rants and comments. I'm sorry if any of it was unproductive or offensive as I do not mean it to be.

SFSU has great accounting students but people just don't know about it.

I think that people who choose this school will like it (not the commute though Hahaha.) On occasion, there's sunshine. But hell, what kind of city is the city of fog if there's sun? [=
