What's the most frustrating thing about Schreiner University?

Jessica

Schreiner University sincerely tries to accomodate each individual's needs and makes sure everyone is recieveing the absolute best education they can obtain. One thing in particular that seems to irk me is they treat us as if we are not adults at times. Personally I think its very crucial to have set boundaries, but I feel this University needs to let each individual make some choices on their own without having someone there to help them throughout each step. Making decisions is all part of growing up.

The most frustrating thing about the university I attend is that freshman can't park anywhere else besides our residence hall.

Simone

The most frustrating thing about my school is not knowing that freshman couldn't park anywhere but their dorm's parking. The security officer gives out tickets without giving warnings. The second most frustrating thing about Schreiner is all the drama. There is always drama whether it is one thing or many things. These are petty things thought. Those are my only problems and I'm sure there would be more at other schools. I have no regrets about coming to Schreiner and I love this school and all my friends.

As a Hispanic attending a school dominated by mostly Caucasians, I often find myself feeling lost. Do not underestimate the power of influence your town's culture has on your being. I lived in a town located right at the border, where the population is comprised of 95{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} Hispanic people. I often find myself missing my home culture. Sometimes I wish I would've gone to a school where the Hispanic population is at least in the double digit percentile.

I would have to say the most frustrating thing about Schreiner University is the location. It is located in the "heart of the hill country" in Kerrville, Texas. The town is beautiful but there is not much to do in Kerrville. We have a bowling alley and a semi-runned down movie theatre. San Antonio is only 45 minutes away, but that seems like a long way and a lot of gas for a low income college student.

Schreiner lacks a good amount of parking spaces. If students who live on campus decide to drive one day to class they take up commuter parking. They need to make more room for parking so commuters have a varitey of parking spaces. The dining hall here on campus needs to be expanded. Schreiner is a growing university and the dining hall has become crowded and over whelming during dining hours.
