I believe that the best thing at Schreiner Univeristy that I have personally experinced is the social connections that are made across our small campus. Every student feels like they have a place amongst the others because we are all viewed at as individuals, not as specific ID numbers walking around. The connections between the students are powerful bonds of friendship, fun, and teamwork. The connections between the teachers and students are the best that any college can offer. If a student has trouble in a subject, a teacher will do anything in their power for that student to succeed.

I was able to take 34 credit hours while also refining my leadership skills and athletic abilitites through the Greystone program. This helped me to recognize my dream of earning my appointment to a federal service academy and has better prepared me to serve my country.

The best thing about my school is the people that I have met and the work that I am doing in my major.

The best thing about Schreiner--hands down--is the community-oriented atmosphere. The campus is small, everyone knows everyone, and the crime rate is very low. Most faculty and staff are very friendly and the surrounding townspeople are, as well. Furthermore, classes are small enough to allow professors to give students much individual attention. Once they adjust to the new atmospher, most students feel safe and at home on campus.

I believe one of the great things that Schreiner has to offer is the free tutoring. There are upper classmen that have taken the same class, has the same professor to help you with any questions you have or if you are just stuck and do not know what to do. Not many colleges have this to offer or you have to pay lots of extra money just to get tutored by a random person.

The best thing about my school in my opinion, would have to be the fact that the school is well rounded and accepting the school is. There is no pressure on which religion you should follow, no one gender groups or ethnicities, and even non-athletes are invovlved in activities outside of school such as bowling. It is one whole big family on this campus, very welcoming and very accepting of everyones differences.

I love that Schreiner is like a big family. Everyone on campus is very supportive of everyone else.

I love the individual attention each student receives from the professors. Also, being a small school, you get to know at least half of the school really quick. All of the students in my class are very close. The upperclassmen do not look down on us, either. The best way to describe this university is family. Sport teams support other sports teams. It seems as though everywhere you go, there is someone you know.

The best thing about my school would have to be the teachers. They are so understanding and are always available to talk to. If something comes up and you need someone to talk to or just some help they are always there. The campus grounds are the place to talk too. One word, beautiful.

The professors. They are always available to help, whether it is for academic advice or personal issues. They really care about the students and offer tremendous support and mentorship.
