There is a strong Christian atmosphere at SAU. The professors here try to incorporate Christian principles into every class., which is far different from my former secular background at a community college. I love how you can see Christ in their lives and how they encourage you not to be content with mediocre Christianity. Their example and the material they present challenge you to grow in your faith and discover what you really believe. They are also very accepting of differing opinions and beliefs.

My school is small. At approximately 1600 students, you're not going to be just another number here, you're going to be a person.

Spring Arbor University is a Liberal Arts school and therefore requires a wide variety of classes to create well-rounded students. This way students have a general knowledge of many different subjects. It is smaller than most schools and as a result it is more community-oriented. People genuinely care for one another, whether or not they are 'good friends.' This school not only wants to challenge you with academics, but also your character and faith. They want to help people make a difference in our world.

Compared to other schools, Spring Arbor University has an irresistible atmosphere. The community is supportive as the bond between students is contagious. The faculty at Spring Arbor University take a genuine interest in their students. They invest much time and care to foster the success of Spring Arbor students. Coming into fall semester four weeks late due to unanticipated medical circumstances, it was still possible to adapt due to compassionate instructors and newly found friends. It is probable that one's expectations for the first semester at college will be highly exceed in unexpected ways at Spring Arbor University.

My school is one of the most friendliest places I have ever been. The faculty and staff are especially unique because they actually know and care about us. We are not just another number on their chart.

My school is a private, Christian college. Here, one can receive a liberal arts education and a religious one as well. Religion courses are taught and there is chapel twice a week, where everyone can fellowship with God regularly. The bible is incorporated in everything taught here, so there is a religious and educational aspect.

My school understands that not everyone comes to them straight out of high school or lives at home with mom or dad. Some of us have family, jobs, and other responsibilities that are handed to us along the way of life. This University has devoloped off site campuses that addresses these types of situations so that no matter who you are, getting an education is not a problem. For these off site campuses the administration makes sure that every thing is avilable to students as if they were at the University, including books and materials sitting at your desk.

It is a small Christian campus with small classes, friendly professors who actually know their students and a student development staff who actually cares about the students. It is a safe place to be with little pressure to drink or do drugs or have sex. It is seeped in Christian values and ecourages students to explore different churches. Spring Arbor is focused on the world and producing students who are involved in the real world. There are many experiences encouraged by the college that are cross-culturally focused as well as helpful in the community around the college.

Spring Arbor University has a lot of religious spirit and the students follow set rules like no drinking, no smoking, no sleeping over with the opposite sex, and the opposite sex i only allowed in on campus housing at certain hours. It has great values and unlike other colleges helps us to stay grounded in our school work and in our faith.
