The smile on every faculty members face when you annnounce that you are trying to become an St. John's member. Maybe it was just me, but it's like they knew about my success before I did. They believed in me before I announced that I needed someone to believe in me.

My school is in a great location for networking and expanding one's horizon. It is very multi-cultural and recognizes that through several activities held on campus. Also, the alumni group is very core and strong.

The best thing about St. John's University would have to be the different cultural affairs that are held quite frequently. My school is very diverse and although it is a Catholic school, it embraces both cultural and religious differences. Being that I am multi-cultural, I feel like it's a perfect fit for me!

Many goals that people reach for in their lives are founded upon the question of "What do I want to do that will bring me happiness". However In attending St. Johns University my goals have been altered and are now based on what I can I do to help my community and bring about change in society. I am involved in a Christian Ministry known as intervarsity that has made me to believe that using every gift and talent you have to spread Christ's love and his belief on helping the helpless is the most important thing.

The poeple. 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} your experience at St. John's will be based on the people you meet. Yes, there are great professors that care a great deal about whether you succeed or not and there's tons of school spirit for our wonderful basketball team but nothing matters without having friends to share the good (and bad) experiences at St. John's. When you become a Johnnie you don't do it alone. That's the best part.

The best thing about my school would definitely be the diversity and the school spirit. Our school is such a close knit community made up of different people from all over the world. There is always an opportunity to be exposed to different cultures. Everyone is so connected and so enthusiastic about the school.

The best thing about my school is it's diversity. Everywhere I go on campus there is another person that does not look like myself. I came from a catholic private school and the majority of my peers came from the same background as me. When I learned more about my peers at St. John's it showed me that the world is a lot bigger than my small town in Maryland. Without the diversity at my school, I would not have had the privilage to meet people from all over the world.

The best thing about my school is that you can personally talk to your advisors and they can help with any problems. I also love the fact that they call to make sure that you are attending the following semester and if any problems arise while registering they are willing to help.

I think for a NYC school it's unique how wide open, spacious (and hilly -__-) St. John's is. It's very pretty and very green despite the big buildings. Also gotta love the view of the NYC skyline from the D'Angelo Center.

There's a couple things that makes our campus unique. Actually there's quite a few things. When you exit the library and head towards the dorms, right before you start walking down the stairs, there is a breathtaking view of Manhattan and its sky scrappers. A fun fact about our school is that it was built on a former gold course. You will notice when you are walking in campus that there are up and down hills. One more unique thing is that during the holiday season all of our trees are lit and the week before finals we have fireworks and a mini bazaar.

I think it has to be the community service aspect. St. John's is a Vincentian Catholic University where they follow the teachings of St. Vincent de Paul. He was a patron saint he dedicated his life to the poor. As a result, St. John's is huge on diffeerent community service programs where students aid those less fortunate and give back to the community. Participating in those activities showed has made me a more well-rounded individual.

How personal the teaching is. Because of the small class sizes on my campus (Staten Island), one is able to better communicate with the professors and the experience feels so much more personal.

The best thing about St. John's University, for me, is the location. It's a short train ride from Manhattan, and it's incredibly easy to get anywhere by public transportation. The immediate neighborhood is nice, and the extended neighborhood is great during the day. Jamaica, if you didn't know, is a major shopping area! Oh, and the academics are okay too.

The people you meet. Definitely. I've never been in a place where everyone is so positive and so willing to learn. It just makes the atmosphere and ambiance beautifully enriching.

The best thing about my school is the diverse campus. People from all 50 states and over 100 countries come to St. John's looking to explore their ideas and beliefs. A school with diversity is a school with integrity, and that's what St. John's is.

Fantastic Study Abroad and research programs.

I would have to commend my school for its diversity and its emphasis on the Vincentian idea of service. Individuals from throughout the whole world come to study at my campus and the campuses abroad. We are constantly exposed to different cultures and mentalities and in turn, we cease to be ignorant of our global society. The school expands on this concept by incorporating service into our everyday lives. Whether we are doing volunteer work for class or completing Midnight Runs, there is always a reminder to stay involved and to try and make a heartfelt difference.

The best thing about St. John's University is the diversity among its students. Here at the university, one can learn much information about a culture they did not know anything about. Some people spend a large majority of their lives not interacting with people of other races. Being at St. John's gives the opportunity to spend time with people of various ethnic background, learning about them. I have learned a lot from socializing with people from all parts of the world. I can definitely say I feel more cultured being at St. John's University.
