St. Mary’s University Top Questions

I consider the close community and Marianist charism to be the best things about the university. Without the community, I wouldn't feel as comfortable and open about school and my life. Also the Marianist charism is something that that only 3 universities exhibit. It's a special feeling that screams genuine care and kindness to all.

The best thing about St. Mary's is how you can feel right at home on campus. I first stepped onto campus on a tour before my senior year of high school. I learned a lot about the history of the school, and what St. Mary's offered as a university. By the time the tour was over, I could only think of how I had finally found the college for me. Living away from home was new, but I still felt that, from my first day of class, that I was somewhere I could call home.

The best thing that St. Mary's University can offer is a good college experience in which you will learn and make friends. It's a school that really cares about faculty and student interaction and the well being of the student. They will contact you and help you if for some reason you as the student have problems of some kind. They also like to encourage alot of community service that in the long run it really helps build up your resume. These qualities are the ones that drove me into this school.

The best thing about St. Mary's is the interaction you get with your professors as oppossed to a larger campus. Professor really get to know you one on one whether it be inside of class or outside. Professor here truly want to see the students succeed.

The best thing about my school would be living on campus for atleast one year for out of town students. The dorms are co-ed which helps in meeting more new people of the opposite sex and building strong long-term relationships. My school has recently inaugurated a new freshman building on campus. I wish I were living in that facility right now but can't complain. This school has everything and anything a student needs in order to succeed in life. The question is how each and every one student uses his or her available resources given to them.

The environment. Very small campus. Friendly people. Safe. Comfortable.

Faculty at St. Mary's University are extremely helpful and truly care about your success. They have so much knowledge, experience, and advice to share on how to find your niche on campus.

The best thing about StMU is the friendlyness of people on campus. After a few weekws here, they really know you as a person not as an ID number. Going into the caf or the coffee house on campus, the staff that work there know what you like and what you don't like. It's a home away from home to many students.

The best thing about my school would be the environement. Everyone on campus just about knows everyone. It is not your typical private university with small classes. Outside of classes students have the opportunity to make friends.

The people here are very friendly and giving.
