The tours and everything is to sell the school. They're good to go to, but you don't know what a school is like until you attend it. Syracuse is a good school if you like basketball, partying, greek life, the arts, and are from the east of California. If you fit into any of those, then you'll be fine. On another note, the hills are bad. And there's no sun.

Syracuse University is unique because it offers so much, not only in the classroom but also outside of it. There are so many clubs to join, activities for everyone!

It's big and while that is a downfall it's also nice to have different kinds of people. There's always something to do on campus!

Although the campus is pretty large, we are a close knit community and students tend to know each other very well.

Though it's large, there are a few colleges within the University that are very specific and have great departments that give more of a "conservatory training" which allow for more specialized and specific learning environments.

The faculty is really astounding--some of the top professionals in their fields, and there is so much to do here, sponsored by the school, all the time.

It has one of the best journalism programs in the country, but it is also flexible enough that you can do a dual major in something else.
