It is not extremely urban. It is located in a small town, yet many students prefer to live in a smaller town. School spirit is just coming out of the dead phase. It used to be almost completely extinct, but now is rapidly on the rise.

Texas AM Commerce worst attraction is that the college is the main attraction in the town. It has the basics to survive in the town such as: gas station, Wal-Mart, corner store, day care, and banks. However, it’s so condense that you’re literally walking around in a circle. None the less it’s not a horrible town makes it easy to study.

There isn't much around the town, besides the school.

The worst thing about this campus is the lack of alumni support. I work in the phonathon department, and a lot of our alumni are not willing to give back to the school. A lot of them don't even feel connected with the university. It's hard to grow as a campus without support.

I would consider the administrative organization to be the worst aspect of the school because it causes many students to lose time and money by not being directed to the right people and resources.

I think the worst thing about this school is the lack of school spirit and the fact that our campus doesnt feel like a community, it feels like there are very segregated clicks of people. People here sometimes lack the will to succeed here.

There is always construction going on around campus. It is very difficult for studying.

Commerce is a very small town and doesn't have much to do outside of the campus. It is slow going on the weekends and you have to go to the next city over to find something really entertaining to do besides drink.
