I do not think that there is a type of person who shouldn't attend this school, but if you are sexist, racist, or hate cultures and diversity then you shouldn't come here because this school has a great number of culture and diversity.

In my personal opinion, everyone should have a chance to attend a school of higher education, because education is very important and education is the only thing that no one can take away from you.

In my opion people who like being in a big school shouldn't attend Texas Southmost College because it's a small campus but it has all the great things any college could give you.

The kind of people that should not attend this school are people that do not like to work hard. Since classrooms in this school are smaller, professors expect more from students and learning the material is also very much expected. As a result, one has to work hard in order to not disappoint your professors and, most importantly, not disappoint yourself. Not only this, the work assigned is very demanding in some classes. Long hours are going to be required in order to complete the assignments, therefore, a hardworking student is nedded.

The people that shouldn't attend here are the people who are into sports. Since UT Brownsville doesn't offer that many sports especially football, we don't really carry out our school spirit.

Everybody have to attend school, its a very important tool for succes.

People who don't have a positive attitude and read for pleasure should not attend my university. My English professor taught our class this lesson when I was a freshman at my university when he made us read "An Open Letter to Ninth Graders". Patrick Sullivan makes good points on what it means to be college ready. If you don’t have grit and attitude with critical thinking skills should not think about making it in college.

I feel society pressures our youth to get ahead and strive for academics at a swift pace. I have nothing against this as I see it fit to raise my own this way when the time comes. However, some students get to an institution of higher learning and are unaware of the new learning tactics and culture. It's a new world from the transition of high school to college and not everyone transitions together. This creates a gap and may cause errors and omissions in the transitional process of academia for the sense of higher education.

I think people that actually doesn't want to learn should not attend this school. I believe school should only be for people that actually are passion it to learnd.

Anyone serious about completing a quality education.

Everyone should have an equal opportunity to be able to attend this school. No matter their situation their is always an option or opportunity to be able to attend this school. It not only benefits the person attending but it makes our community grow and become much more recognizable as well as the school.

If you do not like being in the heat year round, then you shouldn't enroll here. In brownsville its hot year round, with some bi-polar weather every now and then. But overall, its an amazing campus and there is nothing to complain about!!

I'm no one to say what person shouldn't attend this school, I will only accept those who strive for success, who will perceive in achieving their dreams are tro be accepted.

A person who does not want to acquire a professional degree to succeed in life.

All people should attend this school except psychopaths. Recently, there has been multiple incidents where current students in universities start shootings and kill several students and teachers. Luckily, there have been none in this university. Therefore, the only kind of person who shouldn't attend this school is a psychopath.

People who can't handle stress, those students who don't do their work would never make it at my high school/college. If someone doesn't feel like doing their work then he/she would fail badly. Not only would these poor grades be recorded on your high school transcript, but it will be under your college credits.

I believe that everyone has the right to an education, therefore I believe that every person should have the opportunity to attend this campus.

In all honesty, any person should attend this school. It does not discriminate, the student life is awesome, everyone is real nice and it's easy to make friends with the same interests as you.

Persons that do not like diversity of race.

The type of person who shouldn't attend this school would be someone who does not want to be here or is not going to try. In order to be successful here you have to want it. People who are simply going to take up space should not attend this school. There are plenty of people who want to go to college but cannot for one reason or another.
