My classmates became my friends, and we found that the connections we made in the classroom followed us even outside of it.

Coming to Texas State, I did not know what to expect from my classmates since they aren't people I grew up with, but over the semester, my classmates are people who are confident with themselves, aren't scared to meet new people, want everyone to feel apart of the group and are pretty down to earth students.

My classmates depending on the class can either be incredibly open minded such as one would be if they were taking a philosophy class or extremely attentive and inquistive such as one would be if they were taking a chemistry class. Each student is eager to learn new material and excel in class. Every student is helpful in attending to others who dont understand the material quite as well as they do. There is an openess that surrounds the students in the way that they want their classmates to succeed just how they want to succeed.

My classmates are interesting! I especially love working with other art students because our work inspires each other. At Texas State, there are so many different kinds of people that you never have to be afraid to be yourself. It's a great place to make friends, especially with all of the campus activities that are run by fellow students.

I believe there are all types of ethnic/racial/socio-eco, etc. status students here. However, I feel that there isn't not enough mixing of these different diversity factors.
