The Master’s University and Seminary Top Questions

What's the most frustrating thing about The Master’s University and Seminary?

Evan

Some of the decisions the school makes are odd to the point of being frustrating. An example is that the school promised a nursing major for about 4 years to students, even getting some students to attend on the belief that it would be going the following year. Each year they did this until finally they announced the school was no longer pursuing a major for nursing. Many of my friends were hurt, especially financially.

Jordan

Some of the people here are really difficult. Some are very legalistic and don't even realize how rude they are. That is just a few people however, making them easy to avoid.

Carissa

Sometimes the focused placed on the campus community makes one feel like your own personal focus on academics and future career is wrong or misplaced. One sometimes feels guilty about focusing so much on practice and academics.

Julie

I think the most frustrating thing about my school is that it is so small... sometimes it is like you are trapped in the proverbial "bubble." It is hard to get out of it and realize that there are lots of other opportunites available to you that are not necessarily on the campus. It is hard to break out of the "bubble" and make friends with other people that do not go to the same school as you. It is hard to meet people that are not in your dorm as well.

Jesse

The "No Dancing" rule. And the fact that not all rules are enforced equally.

Kara

Sometimes the rules were a little frustrating. They are a stricter school when compared to most other schools. I personally didn't have too much of an issue with them, because a lot of the rules went along with the way I was raised. However, when talking with other students, the rules are something that seems to bother a lot of them. (These include a curfew for freshmen and sophomores, dress code, & other things along these lines.)

Hannah

You have to walk up a big hill to get to your dorm, and you can't park on the lower campus.
