Well I think that races and people doesn't matter. Because in this school there are many different kind of people they went to this school. I think is it a great opportunity to go to this school because people will be very glad and exciting to meet new people.

The type of person that should not attend this school are people who are looking for a large Greek system and people who are looking for a lot of research oppurtunities.

Someone looking for a university with strong school spirit would not be as happy here. It is a commuter school for the most part.

I believe that everyone should attend school to better their education and broaden their capablities for their future. While this is what I believe, if a person is not motivated and determined then the University of Alaska Anchorage is not for them. The college life for young students is not as readily available as other universities. The University of Alaska Anchorage has an older community geared towards their motivation to excel and pursue their education. With this being the case, there are less opportunities to enjoy the young college lifestyle.

Close minded individuals who are set in their ways and have no desire or room in their lives to learn or consider ideas and concepts which may have never occurred to them in the past should not attend this school.

A last minute person who rushes to get things done should not attend this school because late work givin a lower grade. Someone who has trouble managing their time should not attend this school. Students who sleep in class would also be a bad choice for this school.

A person shouldn't attend the University of Alaska Anchorage if they are averse to cold weather. The weather can get pretty harsh sometimes and it can be a long walk to your next class. If you are a person that needs family close by, then this school may not be a good choice for you as well. It can feel very isolating from the rest of the States. With the darkness, the cold, and the distance away from other states, one can feel very lonely. Other than that, UAA is a great school with much to teach.

I personally cannot think of any person who wouldn't be interested in attending UAA. People commute from other areas of Alaska to attend the school; however, Alaska itself is not a warm state, thus those who prefer warmer climates would probably not enjoy UAA. due to the long, dark winters.

A student with enough money to attend the school of their choice with out regard to cost, and for whom the name of an ivy league university on their diploma would be an advantage.
