The best thing about UCDavis is its location. I am originally from Los Angeles and Davis is what I was looking for, a small little friendly town, you have evrything you need just around the corner, and since its not a big city, you can be assured that there arent too many distractions.

it's a great place to study because there is absolutely nothing to do, unless you drink.

The best thing about my school is how friendly and accepting the student, faculty and resident population is. Everyone is very conscientious of their impact on the environment and always willing to lend a helping hand. Rude, unpleasant encounters with people are very infrequent at UC Davis and everyone seems to have a positve outlook on life.

The best thing about UC Davis that although it is a large campus, with the advantages of that such as a greater quantiy of major and course choices it still as a small college feel of friendly people and close knits of friends.

The Library. University of California Davis has one of the largest libraries I have seen. It is interconnected with all the other UC libraries so that students can access books from any campus within a single day. The online data bases are wonderful as well. My major requires alot of writing and research so I use the library resources quite often. Besides the books, it is a great place to go between classes to get some work done. It is always quiet, comfortable, never too cold, and there are plenty of large tables with near by outlets for lap tops.

The best thing about Davis is the community. It is a friendly, enjoyable place to live. The downtown area is fun and has tons of different restaurants to try. The overall atmosphere of Davis is calm, peaceful, and comforting.

UC Davis has such broad academic opportunities that there is something for everyone! The school provides its students with the tools necessary to succeed and to enter the workforce and professional world. There is a true desire to succeed among the students and the school helps to foster that. The campus is also actively expanding and making a large effort to provide the facilities that can house the great academics that are already here or to help other programs grow to their full potention. The college is making a strong effort to make UC Davis the best school possible!

The best thing about my school is the fact that it has a very active campus with many facilities to help the students.

Davis has something to offer to everyone. Whether it be oppurtunities to work closely with your professors in research, or the awesome music scene it offers, or just to get away on a hiking trip for the weekend, Davis has it. The people here are genuine and intelligent, and the atmosphere condones those qualities. The factuly is incredibly well-informed and able, and they provide top-notch education. A big plus is also the fact that it is a bike school. It makes life without a car much easier and provides a more green environment.

I liked that the school was located in a small town because it allowed me to stay focued on my homework and study for tests. The school is also economically friendly. Also, the school is very health conscious because almost everyone bikes or walks to campus.

If you want a school in a quiet town that still retains some semblance of "civilization", and has good resources and prestige, UCD is perhaps the best in the NorCal area, especially for Bio. The student body is very diverse, and there is always a way to answer almost any question. There's always something to do, but if the scene still doesn't suit you, UCD campus is not too far from Sacramento.

friendly enviroment with everyone willing to help out especially to incoming freshmans when they are locating their lecuture halls. The police patrols the campus at night to make sure students are safe.

The best thing about my school, UC Davis, is the bicycle population. It is not uncommon for college campuses to utilize bikes, but it is unusual for bikes to over-power cars. At Davis, we pride ourselves on making our bikes the coolest, most attractive items we own. And since Davis is rather self-contained, a bike can travel anywhere you desire.

The campus is surrounded by nature and the students here are very welcoming. I know some people who turned down "better" UCs such as UCSD, UCLA, and Berkeley because they didn not get good vibes. Most people at Davis, Davis was not their first choice. However, after visiting the campus, most people chose to attend UC Davis. This is because of how friendly and involved the students are. The general vibe on the campus is excellent, and it is because of this feeling of accceptance that most people attend UC Davis.

I think the best thing about my school is the amount of resources. You have the Cultural Center, LGBTRC (Lesbian,gay,bi-sexual transgender center) the Student Recruitment and Retention center and also many other resources like tutoring and career search centers.

i think that if you apply yourself and your thoughts the person will learn a lot and there is a lot the school offers them.
