If you're in the scene, you know what goes down, but if you're not, you study quite a bit.

Overall, it is an absolutely great college that allows students to apsire to wonderful things, whether it be through academia, or clubs or even social events.

UCI is a world opening experience that plugs you in, to all kinds of interests, causes, peoples and ideas that you may have never come across before; it is located in the heart of Orange County, which provides for access to good jobs, great night life (Hollywood is 45 minutes away), great beaches, and any amenities you could possibly need; UCI is a very technologically advanced campus with a diverse and engaging student culture that will provide an excellent college experience for anyone who attends.

UCI is a very academic focused school. There is not a lot of school spirit. If you want fun, I would suggest going out to the surrounging areas like costa mesa, huntington beach, or la. But if you are looking for a good school, you will get a great degree. just not a great social life.
