It's gorgeous. Some days I'd rather study outside in peace and quiet surrounded by nature then in the library. We have tons of flowers and plants and fruit growing on campus. We have a botanical garden with hundreds of plants and turtles and bunny rabbits.

UCR is a diverse campus, allowing students to immerse themselves in different cultures, opinions, and experiences.

UCR supports each one of it's students and the heat here is also very unique. UCR also has many branches around campus for any major to utilize as a resource, it even has a medical school for pre-med students. UCR has high school spirit compared to other schools in California, mostly because our mascot is a highlander bear complete with sword and tartan spirit.

UCR is diverse,career focused,and fun.
Linh
UCR is a eco friendly.

It's a clean, scotland-inspired campus with a modern touch in some areas and covered with green everywhere else, but now also includes some useless, giant campus decorations in an attempt to look more modern and instead just looks bulky.

Initially thought to be a school for rejects, but it has transformed into a school for intellectual and forward thinking individuals.

I had never even seen UCR before I submitted my Intent to Register (SIR). With that being said, I only saw the school through Google Images or through the campus website. But once you step onto the campus, you see how unique it truly is! I know I keep saying it over & over, but it truly is so strikingly diverse. Everywhere you look there's a different ethnicity being represented, which is much different than any other UC. The weather here is always nice, so the sun is shining on nearly every part of campus. It's fairly small compared to other UCs. The HUB (Highlander Union Building) is in the center of campus, and is home to many restaurants, offices, coffee shops, even a cupcake store! Just past the HUB is the Bell Tower, a 161-foot mammoth that rings at the top of of every hour. The Bell Tower lights up at night, creating a romantic and comforting scene. In nearly every direction of the Bell Tower, you'll find a lecture hall or library. UCR is lush with pathways and trees, and I try and take a different route each day so I can take it all in! There are also dozens of directories all over campus, so you needn't worry about getting lost.
