i think we need a greek row... that would make this school more social and more ppl wouldnt feel it were anti-social

I often feel that UCSD is overlooked because it is overshadowed by UCLA an UC Berkeley. Students need to give UCSD a second look and research the opportunities it has to offer students. It is an up and coming school and I expect it to slowly emerge onto the national and international stage as a very highly sought after school.

I LOVE UCSD! I'm very happy I came here. Be sure to check out everything about all the colleges you decide to apply to. You'll find a good match. UCSD tries very hard to be accommodating to their students, which is what I love.

UCSD is a school for seriously academic students. It is not a school for slackers.

this school is definitely not parking friendly. I think almost every student has encountered an issue or an inconvenience with on campus parking. Even though students can purchase a parking permit, it is overly expensive and hard to afford. Moreover, all the parking structures are packed and hard to park.

Honestly, I love UCSD. It was my first choice not because of it's academics, but because I felt so at home, relaxed, and comfortable there the moment I stepped on campus. I love the students here and I love the culture, but then again I'm not someone who needs parties and a jam-packed social calendar. I prefer to hang out with a small group of friends and shop, watch movies, etc...UCSD was perfect for me.

Oh UCSD!! its something/a place that grows on you.

Don't go home on the weekends because that will just make everyone else keep doing it. Get outside of the La Jolla bubbble and discover the rest of UCSD. Figure out the public transportation if you don't have a car, UCSD has great connections with our buses. Not enough people are involved with school government and would rather complain, so make a difference.
