Located just south of Denver, the University of Denver is a place that allows its students to grow, mature, and expand on their ambitions and talents that will lead them down a successful life path, all while promoting fun events, athletics, and extraccuriculars in one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

I've never been more inspired in my life while at my first year at DU. I met so many incredible individuals that opened my eyes to so many different things and virtually changed my life forever. I have always felt so welcome and comfortable there and I can't wait to return in the fall!

The university expects as much from me as I expect from myself - more than most students would consider possible.

The Univiersity of Denver isn't just a school, it is my school and I love that.

The University of Denver is classical, proud, and beautiful; like an elegant high society woman from the 18th century, DU glides above the rest of the world.
Whitney
A progressive school that strives for excellency from all students in both academic and career-driven goals

It seems, in retrospect, that DU was very happy to get my money, but not very willing to partner with me for my future, even now I am solicited for money, but when I have contacted them about job assistance, I do not get return calls.

DU is a school filled with passionate students. Whether they are passionate about academics and learning, or sports, or politics, or the environment, they are passionate about something. The campus itself is quiet and beautiful, with architecture that is completely unique to the school (it is literally one-of-a-kind; the school has its own architect on staff). There are many trees (DU is a National Arboretum) and lots of green lawns that are meticulously manicured. The buildings are impressive and gorgeous, yet modern (but not ugly).Of course, the mountains aren't far away and provide a fantastic backdrop to Colorado sunsets, and the climate of Denver is probably one of the best in the world (in my opinion).

The campus is pretty gorgeous for the most part. There's a good amount of grass, and a lot of trees. In the middle of campus is a very nice water feature, an area from which you have a wonderful view of the mountains. The general motif is creme-colored brick accented by burgundy, aside from a few older buildings that stand out. These are Centennial Halls and Towers, located at the north end of campus, and the Penrose library, which is currently being renovated and is located centrally. Generally, the campus is very beautiful and aesthetically cohesive in the middle 70 or 80{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}, but as you get to the north or south end the campus's look and feel starts to lose its consistency and attractiveness. But, despite a few odd-buildings-out, the majority of campus follows this creme-and-burgundy motif pretty well, and the majority of campus is very warm and pretty, if not outright breathtaking at certain times of year.

The campus is very pretty, especially in Fall. The trees are changing colors and it is beautiful. Also, the buildings are all red brick, so it gives it an old, east coast feel.

Most people think that DU looks like Hogwarts. It is a beautiful campus with very new buildings and facilities. The brick buildings look like an East Coast school set in Denver with a view of the mountains.

Traditional yet modern. There is a lot of brick yet some new buildings that give it a modern touch. Walking west, you get a beautiful view of the mountains and there is green everywhere! Definitely one of the perks of being an arboretum (a place that has one of every kind of tree). It's small enough to cross campus in less than ten minutes and see someone you know, but big enough to have the ability to meet someone new every day!

The University of Denver provides a college experience that is better than anything I could have ever dreamed of, and I feel that all of my academic, social, emotional, and mental needs are met.

The University of Denver is considered the best university in Colorado and, although small, it still has a surprisingly large amount of opportunities academically and for getting involved in tons of different clubs.
Damaris
University of Denver is challenging.
