University of Florida was founded on a green territory, donated by the state of Florida centuries ago. What used to be nothing but green landscapes was converted into the most pronounced university in the state. Nowadays technology overpowers the “old ways,” and everything seems to be established on concrete floors, microchips and wireless networking. In comparison to contemporary, this school wraps itself around Mother Nature instead of using her as an accessory. As one who comes from that sort of environment, this school offers more of a “home feel” to it than any other has ever offered.

The greatest thing about my school is that everyone can find their niche. There are so many student organizations, courses, sports, research opportunities, and other opportunities that any student can literally make whatever they want out of their college experience.

The best thing about my school is the education I recieve there. I am very interested in doing research and my school has multiple laboratories across the campus. Due to the wide array of research interests of the faculty, I am able to focus on the research that interests me the most.

One of the main advantages of attending the Univsersity of Florida is its ability to draw in other companies, businesses, researchers, teachers, etc. The best thing about the University of Florida is its plethora of resources that are available to the students.

I consider the best thing about my school to be how diverse it is. For the first time, I have been opened to every organization possible. There are always groups of all kind trying to educate others of their culture. I extremely enjoy being able to learn about others and how they live and what they like. Back in my high school in Miami, I was mostly surrounded by Hispanic people so it is what I was used to. But I have come to have friends from all over the world who have the same ambitions as me.

The University of Florida has an amazing choice of academic schools, but the best thing is the school spirit! How many people can wake up and honestly say that they are excited to walk around campus? I carry that spirit with me today. Every time UF alumni pass each other in the mall, at work, or anywhere in public, they greet each other with a "Go Gators!" and a mutual understanding of the life and the future of a prestigious Florida Gator.

Each teachers was professional, insightful and helpful and they each took an interest in the welfare and education of their students. Staff was courteous and available when approached and always had an effective answer for the learner. Years later when I contacted professors with questions they still remembered me and were ready to help be it simple answers of personal referances. LOVED the Gator staff!!

Some of the best things about the University of Florida include the flexibility of the college; the school has many options for fields of study, so that a student is able to transfer from one major to another without having to change schools. The student body is very diverse so there are many ethnic differences and opportunities to embrace other cultures. Classes are large but teachers are easily approachable and friendly. In addition, it's a large and popular university that is relatively close to my hometown (so that I may come home conveniently to visit when I choose).

The best thing about the University of Florida is the friendliness of the entire Gator Nation. Honestly, when I first become a student I thought that the "Gator Nation is Everywhere" slogan was merely that - a slogan. However, since I became a student, I've traveled throughout Florida and across the country to California and Minnesota, and I've seen Gator Alumni proudly sporting their Gator gear at the farthest points of the country. I thoroughly love how simply having Gator Love in common automatically makes friends.

I believe the best part of attending the University of Florida was that even though the student body was so large, there was such a sense of comradrie and energy. We all had such enthusiasm for being part of a university that many may celebrate for its accomplishments in sports, but which also gifted us with one of the best educational experiences in the country. We were encouraged to grow and discover, and we always knew that nothing was out of our limits or our grasp. I know I always have a friend wherever there's a Gator.

The campus atmosphere is the best. The courses are challenging and push you while the teachers engage and support your growth, creating an atmosphere of academic motivtion. Then, in complete balance to the academic atmosphere, the school spirit permeates through every part of the campus creating an inclusive community. This atmosphere makes a student feel as though they belong and reassures the doubting freshman that thay made the right choice for their future.

The best thing about the University of Florida is the staff. Here we have some of the most knowledgable and well rounded faculty. This is encouraging and makes students want to do well and follow the example of their professors.

I think its location and the variety of academic programs are the best things about my school. Gainesville is built for the college students. Anything that we could possibly need is nearby and available. Also, we have a very wide range of majors and colleges. If students want to change their major, their desired major is most likely here on this campus.

the beta thing about my school is they care about each and every student. i thought i was gone be home sick being away from home for the first time but i wasn't. if you have any kind of problem they will try their best to do what they can to help out you and your situation.

The best thing about my school is the friends I have made while living on campus and attending classes; furthermore I love the variety of classes and majors offered that are geared towards the diverse mind of the student body.

The best thing about my school is the broad amount of majors available! There is something for everyone here. The academic rigor is excellent, afterall the averahe freshman has a 4.2 GPA upon entering the university.

Attending the University of Florida is extremely a surreal experience. The many opportunities that the staff and students incessantly offer students here surmount to many different institutions and organizations that provide wonderful jobs and interships. Also, the staff does an excellent job making sure that students stay on track of their major, and if they aren't, the staff does whatever is in their power to designate a student to a major that is akin to both their interests and skills.
