University of Kansas Top Questions

What's the most frustrating thing about University of Kansas?

Julie

When attending both the Edwards Campus and the Lawrence Campus, the students are charged twice for extraneous fees (i.e. technology fee). Since the students only have primary access to one campus, the charges shouldn't be doubled.

Thorne

Great school where YOU can do what ever you want with your college experience. Lawrence is very supportive if the University and its' students.

Hunter

Where I live it is hard to get to campus because I live a couple miles away. Too far to walk and not very accessible parking around campus.

Margret

so far i would hav so say, having teachers that really dont know how to teach since it's there first time teaching a class.

Alex

Some of the classwork and studying can be overwhelming. You just have to stay on top of your game and focus to do well in each course.

Pam

Probably the most frustrating thing about my school is the class sizes. First of all, there are the HUGE classes for general education courses, which makes things impersonal and, to tell you the truth, hard to attend and pay attention, no matter how close sit to the front. And second of all, there are the small individualized classes that people are being wait listed for because there just aren't enough teachers teaching that class. I think that if there are so many people wanting to take that class, they should offer more than one.

Derek

Enrollment can be very annoying as far as getting in the classes you want, especially if you are a freshman.

Wes

The lack of parking available on and near campus.

Kimberly

The bus system, while it is free, is always late.

Anthony

My school is great and there is not much to complain about. The only thing that is a hardship is not having a lot of money. I go to school 18 hours each semester and have to work 35-40 hours a week 30 miles away so I can keep up on payments for school. Basically the most frustrating thing about my school is the tuition prices! Other than that I love the school, the people, and the entire city of Lawrence as a whole.
