If you want to go to school and do nothing but party all the time and never do any school work, you should not attend this school. Also, if you have no real drive or motivation to do work you will either need to get that drive, or you shouldn't attend this school.

A person who should not attend this school is someone who does not want to go far in their life, someone who does not take school very seriously. At Kentucky we strive to succeed. Another person who should not go to this school is someone who has no school spirit or love for their college. We are big on school spirit and are constantly wearing our blue and white.

Honestly there isnt a specific type of person that I would imagine to attend the University of Kentucky. There are hundreds of clubs and groups to get involved in so whoever you are or whatever you like then there is a place for you at this school. Someon who would particularly like this school would be someone I would imagine that likes being at a big campus with alot of people, alwayshaving something to do, and that is passionate about school spirit and the athletics program of the school.

A person that does not understand the amount of work it takes to be have a successful collegiate career will not fair well at the University of Kentucky. Committment and dedication are of the utmost importance because you will be challenged and you will be questioned, and only the ones that are truly prepared and possess that almost mythical inner willpower will be the ones with more than just a degree. If a person isn't ready for such an endeavor then they should seek other institutions.

There really isn't a type of person that shouldn't attend UK. It's such a large school, with so many different groups, clubs, and teams that anyone and everyone has a place here. Information about all of them is readily available during K Week at the beginning of the school year.

Someone who would succumb to the party scene. If new students aren't careful they can get wrapped up in the wrong crowd and their college life could turn out to be terrible or even kicked out of school.

I honestly think anyone could have fun at this school, there's such a diversity of charachters on campus that I believe anyone would be able to fit in and have a good time while at school.

An unmotivated person should not attend this school; it requires a good bit of self dicipline and time spent studying.

I think the University of Kentucky is appropriate for any type of person. With a very diverse student population, and facilities and organizations to meet various student's needs, I think Uk is a perfect fit for any type of student.

The University of Kentucky is a great school that has many different programs. Therefore, it is a school that will fit many types of students. However, one type of student that may not enjoy attending UK is one that wants to go to school in a “small” environment. There are many students at UK and the student to professor ratio is pretty high. UK is in one of the most populated cities in Kentucky. If a student did not put forth an effort to become involved, it would be easy for them to feel lost in a sea of people.

A person who doesn't feel comfortable in a school setting with thousands of people, and finds it hard to talk to strangers. The University of Kentucky is a very large campus, and it's very hard to find and make friends if you're shy or uncomfortable around crowds.

Some one looking for a completely new facilities school should not attend the University of Kentucky

Some one who is not serious about getting an education. If they are just attending college to have a good time, sure they will have a good time, but it would be a waste of their money.

If you like big cities and or not a city at all then you shouldn't come to Lexington. Other than that, the University of Kentucky is right for everyone!

Someone that shouldn't attend UK would be a person unwilling to try their hardest for their degree, worries more about a social life than their school work, and isn't school spiritied.

I think that there's a niche for every kind of person at this school.

I think everyone has the opportunity to be successful at the University of Kentucky because they offer such a diverse range of majors. No matter what type a person they are, or what goals they have in life, I think they would be able to find where they fit in, and the people they would want to surround themselves with. With the large ethnic diversity the University of Kentucky has, and the countless number of clubs they offer, I believe anybody with any type of background would feel comfortable making this their new home.

If the person doesnt what to learn and be apart of something bigger than high school and make friends for a life time.

Somebody that is not used to a big school, it's a 40 minute walk to the other side of campus and some of the main university classes like chemistry can have over 200 students.
