University of Montevallo Top Questions

Personally, the location is the worst thing about my school, it's in a small town and it can be a long commute from major cities.

I do not have many complaints about the University of Montevallo. The only complaint that comes to mind is the cafeteria food, but there are many other food joints on campus to choose from. The cafeteria food is what you would expect. However, the food is not horrible, but it is not as good as the food you would get at home.

Smaller classes for th Education classes as well as lower the tutition or have more scholarships available.

I have not found a bad thing about University of Montevallo yet!

The University of Montevallo is a wonderful campus and does not have many downfalls. However, deciding which of the many classes to take is probably the worst part. There are a variety of classes for the students intended major and a variety of classes that allow students to become well-rounded in their college career. Also, all of the professors at the University are all extremely qualified and make learning so much fun. Deciding who your favorite teacher is extremely difficult. Finding time to take all of the classes you are interested in can prove to be a task.

The worse thing about my school would have to be the constant construction as stated above. I actually do not like the fact that a lot of study requirements are on line now a days. This affects many students greatly including myself because there are times when there are many technical issues happening which does not allow you to properly succeed in a particular class.

The brick roads are a tradition at the University of Montevallo. However, the bricks are uneven causing you to be extremely careful and aware of the ground beneath you as you walk. Also, it is very complicated to drive around campus, because there are a lot of one-way roads that will take you in a circle if you don't know the campus well.

Montevallo is a wonderful university. The one thing that I have really do not like is that the gym closes at 8. I would like it to stay open longer. Other than that montevallo is in my opinion the best university and I'm glad i chose to go there.

To be honest, the worst thing about attending the University of Montevallo is an area common within all univerties and that is the cost of attending. Granted, I do feel that I recieve a lot more than I pay for but there is still this lingering fear that I will not be able to finish my schooling because I cannot afford to go. I know that is a a fear many college students live with, but I also know that many have overcome it. The road may be rough but it is not impossible.

The worst thing about the University of Montevallo is that there are not many financial aid options. While the cost of attending is low for a public univeristy, some students, like myself, have trouble attending despite financial aid and scholarships.

The worst thing about my school is that sometimes credits don't transfer. I know a student who took many AP classes, only to find out that they were for nothing more than good practice. I believe that any student that participated in those types of classes should get the credit they deserve.

The worst thing about my schools is the lack of businesses in the erea.

The worst thing about the University of Montevallo would have to be the parking. The parking is far away from the buildings and there simply are just not enough spaces for all of the students. I know it seems silly, but that is honestly the only negative comment I can make about the University of Montevallo. I absolutely love being a student here!

The worst thing about The University of Montevallo is that there is not adequate parking for students. It is a commuter school, and parking is very limited.

Sometimes the people can get a bit offensive, but if you don't get too opinionated too loudly most people here survive rather well.

I can not honestly find a worst thing about my college. If i was forced to chose something it would be how expensive it is to attend, but not even that can make me hate or dislike my college.

The cafe food isn't the best food, but a meal plan does help!

The worst thing about The University of Montevallo is sports is not a big a focus. If you are looking for a university with a strong athletic focus, this is not your school.

I love my school! The worst thing about it is the beautiful cobblestone walkways. They are pretty to look at, but they make you trip constantly!
