Describe the students at University of Nevada-Reno.

My classmates are representative of differing cultures, nationalities, and experiences. They have included people from Japan, recovering addicts, people who have overcome extreme adversity, and the stereotypical all-american guys and gals next door. All have exhibited similar drive and ambition to work toward a common education goal. Additionally, the University of Nevada, Reno has a large percentage of adult students among the enrolled population. Working with other students who also struggle to balance work and an education creates a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

I am much older than my classmates, so I definitely observer their behavior. Some students are goofy, lazy and uninterested. But for those who know what they want out of life are very serious about their education and it's prevelant.

Students at our university tipically have a very happy and optimistic outlook on life. Our campus is social, friendly and determined. The beatiful surroundings of our campus provide excellent oppurtunities for outdoor adventures in all four distinct seasons. Our georgeous campus promotes respect for the environment, and most students have a passion for keeping it green. Many students here have unique and realistic aspirations to change and better the world around them.
