I school this year is being put in the spotlight for our amazing football team and our rivalry against the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Academically, University of Nevada, Reno is best known for engineering and mining. However, the journalism program is rated highly in the nation, as well as nursing. The surrounding area of the university is ideal for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Also there is a lively social scene downtown. There is always a lot going on around campus. We have an excellent new library and student union of incredible quality.

The University of Nevada, Reno is best known for it's beautiful campus and being the first University in the state of Nevada. The quad is beautiful and history of the university is remarkable. New buildings have been placed within the campus and have added a great deal to the university and its standings.

I have no idea, its my first year here.

Our school is best known for its diverse population, football and basketball teams, winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding, and its participation in the Millennium scholarship for all in state students.

On a national level I would say our school is becoming more and more famous for our basketball team. However we are known also a good engineering school.

The University of Nevada Reno is best known for three things: an excellent mining and engineering program, an outstanding agriculture program, and an exemplary bilogical sciences program.

The programs at the University of Nevada are challenging and full of opportunities. We have a Journalism school among the top ten in the nation with 6 Pulitzer Prize winners (One more than Stanford!) and research opportunities that undergrads wouldn't be able to have at most other universities. We also have a school of medicine and amazing College of Business. There are over 70 degrees a student can work for! The campus community is also amazing to be a part of and enjoy.

One of the top Med Schools and our mens basketball team went to the sweet sixteen.

I would say that our school is best know for its basketball and football team. We are also very well know for the Medical School that we have on campus.

They are best know for there sports. We have a great teams here, and we are also know for building a new enviromentally friendly knowledge center. We are trying to help the environment around us. Our school is best know for our spirit and how we carry ourselves. We all try hard in everything that the campus offers us.
