My college, the University of North Texas, is rated one of the best music schools in the country. Specially it is known for the Jazz music program. It is the first University in the United States to have a Jazz program. Besides the jazz, it is great in all other areas of music, including singing, classical music, ethnic musics and more. It is a great place to discover music, be influenced by all kinds of music and diverse musicians from all over the world who come to study there.

University of North Texas is a beautiful campus that is located in the middle of a quiet city named Denton. There are many attractions around campus that can keep a college student entertained, but it is not too close to campus as to cause a disturbance for students on campus.

This school is very environmentally friendly, has a new business building, unfortunately has been in the process of building a union building while I've been there so I haven't had one, and the it is in a college town with local businesses that are deeply connected to the school. There is strong community for such a large number of students. They had a center for entrepreneurship and a $20,000 competetion for students businesses, until this year now that they have funding problems. There are some odd political things going on in administration causing some issues.

The University of North Texas is unique because of its incredible music program. Unlike other schools that are known for their football or basketball teams, UNT sets itself apart by being one of the best music colleges in the country. Being one of the best music colleges in the country really lets you appreciate musicians more and all of the hard work they put into making amazing music.

UNT is an extremely diverse school. It welcomes all types of ethnicities, religions, and sexuality preferances. It is also has a really big music school with over 1,000 music performances a year. Everyone is very unique and talented!

Diversity is a very controversial topic when dealing with an institution, espicially a larger one. When people choose to attend these institutions, they know that the sociological ecosystem is one of assimilation and adaptation to the many new aspects of a higher learning environment. The University of North Texas offers anyone, of any background a chance to be integrated into a diverse learning community with other fascinated thinkers . Who , when put together collectively contribute to the overall status- quo of the institution.

The diversity of the school is substantional, while you are there not only will you get an extrodinary education, but youll also be able to go through new life experiences and grow as a person. Well balanced in every category and very affordable.

It's a liberal arts school. It doesn't specialize in anything and is a big college close to home.

University of North Texas is environment friendly with recycle bins, a beautiful campus with trees and old-timey buildings. My college is special compared to other institutions because the school itself is relatively small with only 36,000 students; they put every ounce of energy in treating each student like they belong and they desverse to be there. The school has so much to offer with one of the greatest Music and Art programs in the country, along with a variety of other majors. There is no limits with what the students at UNT can accomplish .

i think UNT is unique because its a liberal school in a conservative state so you get alot of diffrent opinions of stuff

My school has one of the best music programs in the country, not that I am a music major, although it is very liberal. I also enjoy the proximity of the downtown square as well as the DFW metroplex.

UNT has all the perks of a large university but has the feel of a much smaller community. It was also much more cost-effective.
