The University of North Texas is very arts and music based; moreover, the entire town of Denton, Texas is based around the arts. This is not to say that the other majors are neglected—there is an extensive graduate research team that is involved in finding new means to cure and help aid cancer victims. Needless to say, if you are interested in a career involved in music or art, this is the school for you.

There is literally a place for everyone here. There is a huge international student community. I am an art student and I have really cultivated my passions here at UNT. I'd definitely recommend this school for anyone seeking an art degree.

They should be willing to sacrifice alot of time and effort to make themselves and the school look good. The person should be prepared to study, work hard, and overall reach their goal in life. They should know that this is the right place for them, because at UNT they encourage that and so do the professors. Even though times may get hard and distracting they should know the right way to go and be determined.
