I've learned so much about myself, including how creative I can be with music even when working with others. I now have a better background in the literary department thanks to one of my favorite english professors. Also, I've been given great opportunities to interact with the school in having a job on campus and making new friends has never been easier.

I have learned so much, in college. My first 2 years at community college were not good. I didn't attended class, I even failed some classes; I just didn't take my college career seriously. After getting mediocre grades and disappointing my family and siblings. I soon realized that the rest of my life would be a result of my college experience! I now take my education very seriously. I have been accepted to Baptist Bible College where I will be double majoring in Biblical studies and Biblical counseling. I am excited to begin my classes at the university in the fall and I plan to put all of my effort into my studies!

Well by attending Bowie State University, I been exposed to a new world of diversity and education. The instrutors are there to assist the students by any means. Theres over 50 organizations to commendate each students interest and always looking for more organizations to be establish. Attending BSU its a honor because their academics prepares us for life time career and to do bigger and better things. Personally, my major is computer science and I'm using this degree to become a librarian and learning how to do intensivy research of African history.

This college is good overall.

Attending college and entering a career to help the community has been one of my dreams since I was a little girl. Finding the "perfect" college was difficult but University of North Texas has been "perfect " for me. The university promotes going green and we are known as the "mean green". I am proud to be a part of this school in helping to save our resources and giving back to the community through services. I also believe this school has helped to give a good education with experienced and knowledgeable professors on campus. There are also so many resources on campus available to students such The Learning Center, Writing Lab, Online Assistance, etc. The university works hard to see their students successful. My success is because of my hardwork and the guidance of my professors and other faculty members.

The experience I have received from my first semester in college is that I have learned how to manage my time more efficiently, so now I am not in a hurry to complete task, and having to finish them on the last minute. I have also made friends that will be near for a life time. Seen the feeling of being in a zone were the school spirit is enormous. Its been valuable to attend because at this college campus to me it seems that you do get your moneys worth, it is a bit expensive for some of us like myself, so we need scholarships to attend. The professors are great they help you as much as you can and encourage you to keep trying. GO MEAN GREEN!

My college experience has enabled me to be a contributing part of a welcoming and cohesive community. I have been steeped in my chosen major (psychology) and possess a deep understanding of relevant subject matter and am well-equipped to continuously educate myself on updates in the field. I was admitted to a highly competitive Masters Counsling Psychology program based on the experience and credentials I obtained at the University of North Texas.

My college experience has given me a great start on life outside of high school. I am able to better communicate with teachers and my peers and have been given a great deal of responsibility. I have been able to balance getting my associates degree while completing high school and keeping a job. I'm constantly learning and feel that I am getting further in life as my education continues. By the end of my college experience I hope to become a better citizen by contributing to society in my career and through volunteer work. College has given me many valuable skills that will affect me for the rest of my life.

Experance and knowledge, of my subject and for my future. I learned that work can move you up but hard work can take you to the top. That a day can be boring since there are always changes and that the world is vast but the roads around it are small, leading to meeting people from your past as new ones greet you everyday. That watching the world around you can lead to new sights and amazing happenings, and that one should be brave and take a chance, but always have a back up plan. It gets you ready for the road into the future, but from the saftey of a air bagged car. It grows character.

I have learned valuable time management skills in college, and these will help me for the rest of my life.

There are many aspects of my college experience that will be with me always. The people I've met, the subjects I've encountered, and the ability to keep away from jobs that don't provide careers. Attending college was important because it exposed me to new ideas and ways of thinking about subjects that were not previously considered. Just like my childhood, my adolescence, and early adulthood, my experience in college has molded me into the man I am today. I am proud to say I am an alumnus from the University of North Texas.

I've learned that I get what I take from college. My amount of effort put in is equal to the amount of reward I will recieve in the end. The only reall way to be successful is to do above and beyond what is required, and put my all in to it.

From my college experience, I have attained work ethic. I have attained the ability to keep working at something, even if I fail at it the first time. Time management, higher learning, and the ability to communicate have also been things that I will leave this campus with once I graduate. I have learned to try new things, and to thank those around me who keep pushing me on, and refuse to let me stop, because they know that I can do better than I myself believe that I can. These things I find valuable to both my remaining time on this campus, and also to the time that I will spend out on my own once I leave. I feel that they will aid me in the working field, and in life. I am certain that without attending this campus, I would not have achieved these things that I have.

I've been able to express my views in college. I've learn to be more independent and responsible. If i had chose not to attend college, my life wouldn't have been the same. I wouldn't be focused in life. I wouldn't have any goals in life to follow and goals are what keeps a person going. I'm more focused than ever before. I know what I want in life, a successful career of becoming a dentist which wouldn't have been possible without going to college. I'm glad i made this decision of continuing my studies and hopefully i'll be where i want to be very soon.

Moderate losw cost, friendly and open minded, and sized correctly for good student learning. Education, while sometimes lacking in assitace is intense and will ultimatly prove valuable.

It's been an amazing experience. I'm thankful for everything I've learned. I've met incredible individuals who inspired me to develop my potential to the maximum and beyond. I paid my way through college without loans only state grants that covered half of my tuition. This taught me to appreciate the value of education and helped me become independent, and determined to improve myself. It tested me not only in the academic sense but in the physical and spiritual as well. It helped me understand different perspectives of life and become an optimistic human being. I learned from my mistakes and not to be afraid of making them. When things didn't work out I tried them again and if I didn't succeed I changed my strategy but never gave up. I learned that in order to be respected I had to respect myself first. I learned that no matter the circumstances hard work always pays off, perhaps not the way, or as soon we are expecting but at the end if we don't give up the results will flourish. I know that critical thinking and respect is essential in the growth of humanity.

I've gotten a tangible sense that mhy dream choice for a career is possible. i've recieved great education experience with great and encouragin people around me. I don't want this to come close to ending and so I need this this scholarship, the chance to return to school has been a powerful thing in my life when for the past few years my family has been struggling and I've had to help pick up the slack, but I don't want to slow down in school. A small scholarship helped me get back to school, I just need more to keep me going.

So far I have learned a lot more about people from different places and backrounds along with being able to experience new things such as college football games, the band, and much more as new theings continue to surprise me as I constantly find something new and fun to do each and every day. This has been valuable for me mainly because without all of this I wouldn't be too sure if I would be able to work to the best of my ability because I would seclude myself due to not knowing anyone.

College its a whole different situation. Its the best experience I have ever had in my life so far. I learned how to appreciate and operate the values that my parents taught me while I was home. I also learned to be more responsible of my actions, and live more independently has helped me to be more mature and conscious. College is also very fun. Theres many things that you can do here, that you didn't or couldn't do during High School. You meet tons of new people and live a completely different life. I cannot wait untill I have my degree and do what Im looking forward to in my future. College life is the best !
