I brag that I'm five minutes from the beach and that my school is the perfect size.

When it comes to bragging about my school, I have the biggest mouth. I brag about how close I am with my professors, how cool the URI101 class student mentors are, how I've learned so much in my psychology class and even how much I've learned about living on my own. Most of all, I have the most to tell about my exciting social life at URI. The school does a lot to provide activities for students on campus like multi-cultural week, concerts at the Ryan Center by my favorite artists and movies on the quadrangle.

I like to tell my friends about the amazing greek life and large classes. There is always something to do and the classes are very lenient with scheduals.

I had not wanted to attened URI at all, but came here because of my financial situation. It really is what you make of it, and it offers just about everything you can imagine. Even if a club does not exist for what you are interested in, you have the freedom to make it happen if you want it. Overall, people are incredibly accepting and generous with their time, if you need it. You have the freedom to become who you want to be here.

I brag about the program I am in. The International Engineering Program combines a B.S. in an Engineering discipline with a B.A. in a foreign language. I chose German. It is a five-year program, and in the fourth year students travel to the country of their choice and do a semester of studying abroad and a semester of paid internship.
Alexandra
My professors, how smart and interesting they are and how thay have influenced my decisions.
Shauna

I tell them that it is really organized when it comes to your majors and the classes you need. A lot of help from advisors to help guide you in decison making process and give you what you need to succeed in your major. There are a lot of cool places to hang out and lots of entertainment- clubs and sports to keep you busy and plays and movie nights .
Kristopher
How great all the teachers are and how cool it is being a Film Major. The professors are extremely helpful, not just with course content but life deciscions. And they often times exceed the role of teachers and become great friends and useful contacts. I tell them about how great a variety of people there are so that there are always people to meet and there are always people that are cool and just right for you. Campus is great and i love living here. Lots of things to do if you just motivate yourself. There really are endless opportunities.
