Small class sizes. It allows me to get to know my professors on a personal level and makes networking a lot easier. Also, letters of recomdendation will be heartfelt and genuine since the professor actually knows who you are.

The size is the best part. Classes are small and professors are approachable and willing to help. Since it's not impacted like a state school, it is easier to get into classes. There are also several ways to get involved on campus with student organizations.

USD's campus is unique because it has a traditional feel of a college campus within one of the greatest cities in America. When you are on campus, you don't feel like you are within one of the largest cities in the US because it is situated on a hill in its own little world. But then you are five minutes away from downtown San Diego, five minutes from Balboa Park, five minutes from the beach. USD is in a perfect location. For people wanting a traditional college feel or for people wanting to be within a city, USD is a great option for both.

The best thing about my school is the overall environment. Everyone is happy and willing to help. This makes it easy to get help or ask an opinion about a class. Also it makes making friends much easier. Everyone here is in the same boat and understands some of the feelings you are having and being that they are happy it almost rubs off on you.

Small class size! Smaller sizes really let you get to know your professors, and inturn your professors know you and personally want you to succeed. Also this is an education focused school; the professors' first duty is to teach, and research is second. That means that the professors are good at teaching and more concerned with the student education then getting published.

The great community and all the events put on by the University because it helps you meet many new people and give you a great sence of belonging.

I think the best thing is the service. I feel that employers here are more friendly and willing to help. In addition, there seems to be a lot of resources and faculty who care about you.

The best thing about my school would be the connections you make while you're here. There's a great network of students, with many seeming to come from very wealthy backgrounds. THe social life can be awesome if you love going to the beach and partying at the beach. And if you likfe clubbing, downtown SD is awesome for that. But overall, I would say the best thing about my school would be the class sizes. We are a smaller private Catholic university(no I'm not Catholic, doesn't matter), lots of attention and professor interatction.

I believe the best thing about USD is the closeness. It feels like a true family here, the faculty make you feel right at home. They're is so much interaction that you can't help but to love it. I think that USD is a brilliant place to make your home at. They really do have your back and care about you here.

Simply; the availability of Professors to the students and the departments' willingness to work with one another for the students benefit. It's the the best thing because this students can get the education they want and the help the need to get it.

Large campus, quiet library to study, a janitor to clean up weekly, dinning halls to serve food. All these services help make my transition from home to college dorms easier. The best thing about my school is the opportunities that it has. Starting from first quarter, I was able to get a mentor to teach me in lab, a research that many undergraduates would dream about. There are also medical clubs and informations informing and reminding me constantly to try hard for my future career. These opportunities make me feel confident that I am a step closer to my goals.

The school is set up in such a way that it would be easy for students to succeed. The school provides many speakers to cater to students' interests in their business school and in the college of arts and sciences. The teachers care deeply about the students and are willing to help whenever possible. Classrooms are small so that each student can receive the individual attention he deserves.

The best thing about my school is the location and appearance of it. Located on a hill in San Diego it is close and accessible to numerous resources of this beautiful city. The school itself puts a lot of effort into landscaping and the general upkeep of the buildings the the outside areas is really nice.

I love the small, intimate classes. The professors are great and have more time to help with office hours. The campus has a large variety of accomidations for the students.
