Beautiful campus in downtown Columbia, SC with the perks of city life, but without the troubles of city life, great spirit and closeness between students, and of course the wonderful Southern atmosphere with kind people and great food- oh and GREAT FOOTBALL! GO GAMECOCKS!!!

Brynn

The University of South Carolina is an up and coming school that attracts advanced students that might not otherwise go to this school through scholarship initiatives; this in turn has brought a lot of attention and opportunity here, making USC a fun school environment with promise for serious ranking increases in future years. Basically, it's a pretty good school with really good students that are upping the ante for years to come. Most people I meet here could have gone Ivy League, but took the scholarships. It's a safety school for most of the people.
