University of South Florida-Main Campus Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about University of South Florida-Main Campus? Why?

Carlos

Most people there are not there by choice.

Victoria

The worst thing about my school is that there are only a handful of teachers and staff that honestly care about their students succeeding in their careers.

Christopher

USF can be crowded at times and some of the buildings are old but it is growing. The traffic here can be pretty horrible but there are ways around that. Some departments outside of engineering and bio-med can be pretty shabby. Some of the advisors are the worst at giving advice and can be the worst thing to happen to a discouraged student.

Megan

Our campus is still not known for having its own on campus life. With the resident hall only being open for a couple years and the campus not doing much to support on campus living, it's more of a convenience than something fun. I would like to see a cafeteria and a game room or lounge added. Something to make people want to live on campus and be there.

Katie

The worst thing about my school is the city with which it is located in. Tampa is extremely busy at all times of the day and can be a pain to get around.

Alexandra

Lack of ability in the administration staff. No one seems to know exactly what needs to be done to acquire a degree. Planning all around is horrible and they tend to waste funds on signs that are not neccessary.

Michael

Worst thing about the school is our location. In order to get into the "nice" area of Tampa, you'd have to drive at least another 5-10 miles. Our school is located in the "poor" area of Tampa

Alexander

being downtown because we get a lot less fortunate people wandering around campus

Aesop

The worst thing is the fact Univeristy of South Florida is a growing school. The cost to attend is rising

Courtney

The worst aspect of USF is definitely the size. There are so many people everywhere. It makes it difficult to form close relationships and feel comfortable. I prefer to be in a smaller setting with fewer students so the massive size of the University of South Florida is challenging.
