What makes UW-Milwaukee unique compared to other schools would definitely be the relationship the entire Freshman class has. When I first got to UW-Milwaukee, I felt overwhelming welcomed by a ton of students. I also asked others how they felt, and they agreed. They also felt very welcomed, especially for UW-Milwaukee to have such a large student body.

The pleasent smell of home is always right around the corner.

I think that it was a big university with a small time feel.

I fell in love with Milwaukee the moment I first visited it. The city and lake are just beautiful. I love how diverse this school is compared to any other school I have visited.

This school is much more diverse compared to the community college that I previously attended. Though the campus is not the biggest, it satisfies any student to complete their undergraduates degree and more.

Well UW-M is defiently in a different area and more diverse then the other schools i considered.

The unique thing abour my school is that it displays diversity.

The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee has a very diverse population. That being said it is very easy to become integrated into the campus community and connect with piers. Also that school allows students to commute or live on campus, thus saving students money by being able to live at home and go to a major university

It is close enough to downtown, but far enough away to not feel too compact and busy.

The location is awesome. right next to the beach, a mall and a lot of nice areas to go such as downtown milwaukee. The people are all very friendly and helpful and you never feel like you don't belong

UWM is a very diverse school. Since attending UWM i have learned of many different living accustoms, religions and ethnicities. UWM is unlike any other school I was considering because its highly diverse. UWM has broadened my horizons and opened my mind to lifestyles i never even sought of prior to my attendance.

There is a diversity of people with departments that host alot of events that celebrate different cultures. There is amazing staff within my department that definitely want to see you succeed.

What's unique about my school compared to other schools would be the many different kinds of clubs and activites. They have just about everything. They have soccer, tennis, floor hockey, football, volleyball and other sports for students to go in. They have a womens club, gay/lesbian club, American Indian club, anime club, and many other clubs I have yet to find out.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has one of the best architecture programs in the state. It also offers a master program for architecture, so I will be able to complete my schooling without having to transfer. After completing the master's program, I will have a greater chance of recieving a job because the school brings in architectural firm owner's to conduct interviews of the students. This school is also very culturally diverse which allows people to become more open minded and relate themselves to other cultures.

It's a bigger school. Having grown up in such a small town, I wanted a change. They also have the option of being the the Air Force ROTC which is something I have been considering.

UW-Milwaukee is a very diverse school - urban lifestyle. I come from a small town so to go to UW-Milwaukee is an adventure and an experience all in one that I don't feel I could have received from some of the other schools I was looking at.

UW-Milwaukee was intriguing for me because of their extremely competitive nursing program/school. It's a very diverse school, in terms of both the types of programs that are offered and the crowd of students attending. Before coming to this school, I toured several others, and this had the best campus lay out and the seemingly the best insructors.

My school is unique because of it's cultural diversity. Whenever I'm on campus or when I'm walking to class, I see many different types of people, whether it's their skin color, the type of clothing they wear, or the language they speak.

It is a large commuter school however, many students live off-campus and on-campus. The city isn't too large, and activites in the surrounding neighborhoods keep you entertained all year. The environment is very diverse in politics, religions, sexuality, gender, and socio-economic classes.

There's not much to say really. I like the fact the bus takes me all the way there without any transfers. I think the open spaces between structures is kind of nice, as you feel more relaxed and comfortable.
