Utah Valley State College, now called Utah Valley University, is growing so fast that parking is crazy and there is a lot of construction. many classes are filled the day that registration starts because of how few teachers there are making it difficult to get the classes you want.

The worst thing about Utah Valley University is that parking can be an issue. Everyone seems to want to take classes around the same time so the parking lot tends to get very congested. My advice would be to schedule your classes at a time that is less popular. Most students typically want to start school at nine, ten AM so as you can imagine the parking lot is the most full at that time in the morning. The best times I found were to have classes that start at seven or eight AM/PM.

It's really crowded considering the small campus size. But that's about it. It's a pretty good school.

I think the worst thing about Utah Valley State College is that it is an open enrollment school. There are way too many students. There are more students at UVU then there are at the bigger Universities such as BYU and U of U.

The classes tend to be really big, and there isn't a lot of one-on-one time with your professors.

There is some confusion now and then for me in trying to enroll for classes, and what I believe is the worst thing, is that I don't know who to talk too. If I'm confused about something, it's hard for me to get an answer or solution.

I think the worst thing about my school is that sometimes it's hard to figure out what is going on and where things are located at. It's also a little harder to get to know people because they tend to go within their already made groups

I did not like the class sizes. They were too big.

The club availabilty and the scholorships they offer. I like to be involved and not have to pay to be a member.

The worst aspect of this school would have to be the location in which it is located. Utah county where they University is located is the most conservative county in the state of Utah and that as often left me fustrated with the students and some professors viewpoints. Then again I wouldn't want to go to a school that didn't challenge my entrenched point of view anyway.

I think the school is just a little to small for my preference.

I have had a lot of school and I am unable to transfer some of my credits because of a class name difference, while the material is exactly the same thing. Therfore it will take me longer to graduate and cost me more money. Some of the advisor's are more then willing to do what it takes to find the best options but others are there to work from open to close not caring about my situatuion. They will avoid telling me some good news and tell me it will be longer and cost more instead.

I think the worst part is that there is only off-campus housing and parking isn't great, but there are some apartments almost on campus, but they are not very good.

The school is located next to the freeway and the traffic can get crazy when you are trying to get to the campus.

The only thing that I can think of was the parking situation.

My school is pretty well rounded, but I would say the worst thing is the dramatic increase in tuition for out of state students. Although it only takes one year to become a resident, I feel I should go to school now and I am paying over twice as much as residents!

The only thing that I can think of is that it is more expensive than BYU.

I cannot think of anything too major that I don't like about UVU. I guess one thing is that we don't have a football team and I think we should.

UVU has very little parking for the amount of students that attend, and they charge a ridiculous amount of money for parking.
