I wish I would've known more about how the professors are in the classes they teach. I wanted to know more about the dorm life and just living on campus. I wish I would've known about financial aid and how the breakdown of finances are. I also wish I had more info about the "small store" and bookstore on campus about what they carry and the prices of things

I wish that I had known how small the campus really was. I thought it would be bigger. However, because it is such a small school, the community is great. It's a great school if you want to grow in your faith and make lifetime friends while still learning and broadening your education.

I wish I had known the requirements of going to this school. I came in only four days before school began which ment i didnt get the chance to go over all of the rules and requirements. The rules and requirements are not bad at all but i feel as though I would have been a little more organized if I had known them from the start.

Before coming to Vanguard I spent a lot of time stressing over how I should present myself. I knew that starting college in a new town would give me a fresh start, and a place to reinvent my image so I bought certain outfits and downloaded certain music. When I got to Vanguard and spent time there, I realized there was no reason at all to pretend to be someone else. I wish I had known from the beginning that being true to myself was always the best route to take. It would have saved me from the stress.

I would say that i wish i would of known of websites or companies that offer financial aid. Its been really hard when money isnt coming in and financial help is needed. I have taken out loans but sometimes its not enough. I wish I knew of other options or ways to get more money for school. I would of also wanted to know about different jobs around our area before coming to school. Even though its been nice still knowing about them now.
