I wish I had realized that my best years were not already behind me. They did not end when I graduated from high school but rather began when I started at Tech.

The parking situation

To be honest, I was slightly scared to go to college because I was not sure how well I would be able to interact and socialize with the others around me. The truth is, Virginia Tech is a great place to be and I have more friends than I had ever imagined. We form study groups on the week nights to study and work on upcoming classes, but we also have plenty of time to do all of the other activities on campus. I play soccer there and I still find time to do everything else. You really should go!

I wish that I had known that the most important skill for a college student to have is the skill of time management. When you first come to school and everything is going on around you so fast it's easy to get caught up in too much fun. However, if you have good time management skills you are in control of what you do and when you get it done. If you don't have very good time management skills now, that's ok, you will very soon.

I wish i had known that VA tech was in such a rural area as I enjoy the city. I also wish i had known what I was going to major in seeing as I changed to International Relations and Tech does not offer a good program for their IS department.

How windy it was going to be.

I wish I had known before coming here, as I would have wished for any other school probably, how intense the work load was going to be compared to high school. If I had known how intense and how many hours I would have to put in for this work, I would have tried to prepare myself a little more in high school.

I wish I could have known how to manage my time better. When I came to college I had to completely figure out what time managment was because once I began to get involved in activities I needed to sort out my life.

Online classes are a joke

I'm at a loss for words. I was fairly informed when I came here and on top of that I don't feel like if I had known anything different I would have stayed away. This is place is everything i dreamed and more.
