Washington State University Top Questions

All of our campus is extremly into Cougar Pride, they all attend sproting events and wear their crimson and grey. Plus the Alummni are very involved, which gives the students a great outlook on the future, to know that our school will be supportive of us in the future

Football and alcohol related parties...also the veterinary school and the communication major

Probably the Murrow College of Communications, which isn't really fair because the rest of the university is way better than people sometimes realize.

Among students, the drinking and parting. Among professionals, the high level of academics. Drinking is a problem on campus because honestly what else is a student suppose to do in the middle of a wheat field. But the university is work hard to provide students with other alternatives. I have been at this school for over two years and do not drink. I instead pour my spare time into my studies to get the mose out of my classes. And the classes here are AMAZING!

Washington State University is best known for their school spirit. I can count on the fact that when I see someone wearing Cougar clothing in the airport or in another country, we will both let out a jubilant "Go Cougs." I am proud of being a Cougar!

That's a tough question because WSU is trying to develop in every area every year. Nationally, we are definately best known for our school spirit and alumni loyalty. "Once a Coug, always a Coug" Also, football is a very big deal here, although not critical. But suffice to say, the entire student body looks forward to it. Also, our graduate programs are gaining recognition every year, and our vet school is 3rd in the nation I believe. Our faculty is very dedicated to research and giving back to the world. We do have quite the active nightlife as well.

When I think of Washington State University, it is hard to choose the one thing that I believe our school is best known for. As a research major I would definately say that the world knows WSU for its wonderful research labs and grants. There are so many bright people here that work hard every day. But, as a student, I would say the school spirit that everyone has here is extraordinary Everyone here is extremely proud of their school. This can be seen by the pride shown at sports games and how everyone keeps our campus clean and beautiful.

We have one of the finest Vet Schools in the country, leading edge on communications, and one of the top 100 schools in engineering. Coming from a small town, Pullman; Allows for a really tight community of Coug fans, and dedication to the college. Recently we have excelled in WSU Basketball, being ranked 4th in the country last year. The cougar pride is overwhelming and I would consider these some of the best known things in our school.

Well, I am sure everyone has had the reputation that Washington State University has and being well-known for drinking. I would like to add that based on experience, just about any college can be considered a "party school." This might just be what my school is best known for, but there also other things that my school is well known for. For example: Cougar Sports. Where have you seen a more dedicated group of fans on any campus? And if you have never been to a WSU game, I advise checking it out.
