What's the most frustrating thing about Wichita State University?

Eric

I transferred from Boise State University and the whole process has not been incredibly intuitive. Graphic Design studio courses are only offered once per year instead of per semester making it impossible to work ahead.

The most frustrating thing about Wichita State is the parking. There are quite a few parking lots on campus, but with the amount of students that attend the school, it can be very difficult to find a parking spot at certain times during the school days. It would be nice if the school expanded a bit and added more parking lots, but this seems unlikely since the school sits in the center of a large city.

This can be answered in one word; PARKING!!!

Well, I would have to say the most frustrating thing about my school is that I went into the music program my first semester, and they don't have the music program that I am interested in. I am looking into communications now, but overall my experience with the advising thus far hasn't been very good. I am taking a career class now to try to figure out what I want to do, but I wish I had a better idea and more help along the way.

The most frustrating thing about Wichita State University is the overload of parking. They're are too many cars parked at Wichita State and not enough parking spaces. To make matters a little worse, Wichita State decided to create a sports facility over some parking spaces. That eliminated more parking spaces for students to use. There is no bus transportation system for the students who do not live on campus. Its just frustrating to have to waste gas on waiting for other students to leave their parking spaces, and the administration are not really dealing with the growing situation.

Some of the classes that I have to take are in different buildings, and some of the buildings are quite a ways from each other. It is hard getting from one class to the other without being late but I am capable of doing it.

You have to take raising junior exams for the business program even if you were a transfer student. They also require you to take an orientation class when you transfer in, so you have to pay for the class and learn everything you already learned at your last college.

The most frustrating thing about my school is the fact that the plus/minus system is used. Because of this system, many students grade point averges are not as high as they would be without it. When the school changed to this new system, the GPA needed to keep scholarships was not changed. Students have a harder time keeping their scholarships because a minus on their transcript lowers their GPA significantly. In my opinion, the changing to this new system should have reflected apon scholarship requirements.
