What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year at William Paterson University of New Jersey?

Before attending this university, i wish i knew how money can become a main horific issue. Money is needed to cover all my needs. Its hard to hear my single mother repreating how she is in a financial crisis. We do not get financial aid because she make "too much". I have plenty of goals ready to be accomplished but money is the only issue. I study and work very hard to satisfy my needs.

How bad the parking was.

That it was very small and there are basically no social events. There is MAYBE one or two parties at the school which both end at around 12a.m. The availability of any social event is always off campus, and sometimes very difficult to get to and somewhat far away.
