Army Women’s Foundation Legacy Scholarship Program – Soldiers/Veterans

This scholarship is open to women who have served or are serving honorably in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, and/or the Army National Guard and are pursuing community college, certificate, college, university, or graduate programs. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher if pursuing a community college or certificate program and a 3.0 or higher if pursuing a college, university, or graduate program.

Scholarships for Military Children

This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are 23 years of age or younger. Students must be a dependent child of an active duty personnel, reserve/guard, or a retired military member. Dependent children of employees of DoD, NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), Public Health Services or other federal or military related agencies or activities are not eligible unless they also meet the above requirement. Students must also have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and not be married.

This award is available for U.S. and international undergraduate students who have a biological parent who is a Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) member. The student’s parent must now be deceased after serving in the military in active duty and retiring. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be under the age of 24.

American Patriot Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. and international undergraduate students that have a parent or legal guardian who was a uniformed services member and died in active service. Students must attend an accredited college or university full-time during the following school year and be under the age of 24. If the applicant served in a uniformed service before completing college, his/her maximum age for eligibility will be increased by the number of years he/she served, for a maximum of five years.
