Nursing is caring for individuals so that they will maintain a good quality of life. Nurses have jobs in a variety of settings, including, hospitals, schools, clinics, and the military. There are different areas of the nursing practice, ranging from caring for children, to caring for pregnant women, even caring for cancer patients.
According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Lisette Buechner, 23, was a senior in high school when her cousin was seriously hurt in a car crash. Visits to see her cousin in the hospital helped inspire her to become a nurse.
Chamberlain College of Nursing’s St. Louis campus offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The degree program offers an educational foundation and an extensive clinical practice that can be completed in three years.
