Each year, the Patty Gibbs-Wahlberg Scholarship is offered in the amounts of $1,000, $2,000, and $3,000. The awards go to three college students in the United States who are pursuing a CSWE-accredited bachelor’s degree in social work. Eligible recipients must be active Phi Alpha members, demonstrate academic excellence and much more.

Carl Algood established the Emma and Meloid Algood Undergraduate Tuition Scholarship to honor his parents for their unselfish dedication to helping people in need.?NABSW in providing an annual scholarship to a deserving social work student who will use the training to work with the less fortunate in their communities.
Alice M. Yarnold and Samuel Yarnold Scholarship Trust
This trust was established to help students entering the fields of nursing, medicine, or social work, who may not otherwise be able to attend college due to financial circumstances. Applicants must be New Hampshire residents, already in the process of post-secondary education, demonstrating financial need and academic excellence.
Brea Little Moore Memorial Scholarship
The Brea Little Moore Memorial Scholarship is available for graduating seniors at Holliday High School in Holliday Texas. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must be planning to major in social work, psychology, sociology, special education, criminal justice, or counseling.
Joseph D. Early Scholarship
The Joseph D. Early Scholarship is available for graduating seniors at a high school in the city of Worcester, MA. Preference is given to students pursuing a career in public service.
UNF Ashley Barnes Memorial Fellowship for School Counseling
This fellowship is open to U.S. graduate students who are enrolled in the school counseling program at the University of North Florida’s College of Education and Human Services. Students must have completed at least one full year of coursework and have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher.
UNF Katherine M. Kasten Scholarship/Fellowship
This scholarship/fellowship is open to U.S. college juniors, seniors, and graduate students at the University of North Florida College of Education and Human Services who are majoring in education. First preference is given to doctor of education students majoring in educational leadership; second preference is given to doctor of education students in other programs; and third preference is given to master of education students.
UNF D. Chanslor Howell Endowed Fellowship for Special Education
This fellowship is open to U.S. students who have been accepted in the University of North Florida College of Education and Human Services master of education degree program. Preference will be given to graduate students in special education.
Trinity College of Vermont Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is open to Vermont undergraduate students who are seeking a degree in education or social work and who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Students must demonstrate financial need and community involvement and/or service.
Northeastern Vermont Area Health Education Center Mimi Reardon Scholarship
This scholarship is open to Vermont students pursuing postsecondary education or training related to health or allied health care who reside in Caledonia, Essex, Lamoille, Orange, Orleans, or Washington counties. Students must demonstrate an interest in providing health care in one of Vermont’s rural communities and must also demonstrate financial need.
