This award is open to international and U.S. licensed radio amateurs (general class or higher) who are residents of and attending school in West Virginia. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

U.S. graduate students who have a “B” average and live in public housing are eligible for this award.
Chester Burger Scholarship for Excellence in Public Relations
This scholarship is available for U.S. graduate students majoring in public relations or a related field. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
PFLAG Maryland Chapter Scholarship
This scholarship is available for students who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, as well as straight allies. Applicants must reside in Maryland or attend an institution of higher education in Maryland.
