This award is available for U.S. high school seniors who are planning to attend the University of Denver in Colorado. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and an SAT score of 1140 or higher OR an ACT score of 25 to be considered for this award. There is not a separate application for this award; students are considered upon admission to the university.

This award is for undergraduate students who plan to enroll in Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina full time and live on campus. The student must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher and either an SAT score (reading/math) of 1200 or higher or an ACT score of 25 or higher.

The Amelia Earhart Memorial Academic Scholarship was created to assist students pursuing a college degree in an aviation-related field. This award is available to U.S. undergraduate students who are majoring in insurance, finance/accounting, business administration, marketing, or education. Students must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours per term, or six or more hours if employed full time.
