GlaxoSmithKline Opportunity Scholarship

This scholarship is available for undergraduate and graduate students who have been residents of Durham, Orange, or Wake counties in North Carolina for one year or more. Students must demonstrate the potential to succeed despite adversity and have an exceptional desire to improve themselves through further education or training.

Basil L. King Scholarship Fund – Two- and Four-Year Award

Residents of St. Lucie County in Florida who are high school seniors or current undergraduate students with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must enroll full time in a health science program.

Communications Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Students who are in grade 12 and below in the United States, in CEGEP or below in Quebec, Canada, or in grade 13 or below in the Caribbean are eligible to enter this speech/sign language contest. Students must have a hearing loss of 40 decibels or more to qualify.

Aubrey Lee Brooks Scholarship

This award is available to North Carolina high school seniors who are planning to enroll full time at North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill or the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Awards are based on financial need, merit, leadership, and character. Scholars can receive additional funding to study abroad.

Lawrence C. Yeardley Scholarship Fund

This award is for a U.S. undergraduate student who is a resident of West Virginia. The applicant must have a 2.5 grade point average or higher and an ACT score of 20 or higher. Click here to learn more and apply today!

West Virginia Golf Association Scholarship Fund

This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are residents of West Virginia. Students must have played golf as an amateur for recreation or competition or have been or be presently employed as a caddie, grounds keeper, bag boy, etc., have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and an ACT score of 20 or higher.

Kenneth & Mildred Ward Scholarship Fund

This award is for a U.S. high school senior or older at Clay High School in West Virginia. The applicant must pursue a degree in the field of engineering, sciences, or mathematics at a university in West Virginia. The applicant must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and an ACT score of 20.
