Vernon James 4-H Family Scholarship

This scholarship is available for high school seniors who are 4-H members and plan to attend North Carolina State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Preference goes first to applicants from Pasquotank County, NC. If no qualified applicants are available, then preference goes to applicants from Camden, Currituck, Perquimans and Chowan counties in NC.

Jim Brady Scholarship

This award is for U.S. graduating high school seniors, currently being served by the Duval County Public Schools Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Department with a grade point average of 2.0 or above. Applicants must be a resident of Jacksonville, FL for at least six months and have been accepted to an accredited community college, university or vocational school located in Florida, scheduled to begin classes in the same calendar year as graduated from high school.

Jacksonville Fair Agricultural Scholarship

The Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair Association annually offers scholarships to students majoring or planning to major in agriculture, veterinary medicine, or other fields of study. The purpose of the scholarships is to encourage personal growth and knowledge. Abe and Esther Hagiwara Student Aid Award

Current undergraduate or graduate students who are members of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) are eligible for this award. Please note: Students of any ethnicity are eligible to join JACL. Applicants must demonstrate severe financial need.

Aiko Susanna Tashiro Hiratsuka Memorial Scholarship

High school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students who are planning to major or are majoring in the performing arts are eligible for this award. Students must be national members of JACL.

Jackie Robinson Annual Scholarship

The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides a multi-faceted experience designed to address financial needs of minority students pursuing an education. U.S minority high school seniors with SAT scores of 1000 or higher or ACT scores of 21 or higher are eligible. Financial need and other factors will be taken in consideration.
