This essay contest is open to U.S. public, private, parochial, or homeschool students in grades 5-12. Students must write an essay on the current year’s topic to enter; essays must be accompanied by student and teacher registration forms.

Spotlight Awards Program
This awards program is open to international and U.S. high school students who reside in the following California counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, Santa Barbara, or San Diego. Students must audition in one of the following categories: acting, ballet, non-classical dance, classical voice, non-classical voice, jazz instrumental, classical instrumental.
Transportation YOU Scholarship for High School Girls – Portland Chapter
This scholarship is available for high school women in Oregon and southwest Washington who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and an interest in pursuing a career in transportation. Applicants must be between the ages of 13 and 18.
ARTBA Student Transportation Video Contest
This scholarship is available for U.S. students who submit a two to four minute video on current issues in American transportation.
AOPA Student Pilot Scholarship
The AOPA Student Pilot Scholarship is open to U.S. students who are pursuing a private, recreational, or sport pilot certificate and already have a student pilot certificate. Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award
This award is open to students who are 8-18 years of age that reside in the United States and have not yet graduated from high school. Students must demonstrate exceptional musical achievement, unmet financial need, academic achievement, and strength of character.
BMI Student Composer Awards Program
This competition for original musical compositions is open to citizens of countries in the Western Hemisphere that are 27 years of age or under as of the application deadline. Entrants must be studying music either in an educational institution or with a private teacher.
Folds of Honor Scholarship
This scholarship is available for U.S. students who are in 11th grade or younger and are dependents of an eligible military member. This program is a college scholarship that is awarded now but used in the future when the awardee begins college or other types of accredited postsecondary education.
Folds of Honor Higher Education Scholarship
This scholarship is available to U.S. students who have been accepted for enrollment in an accredited postsecondary educational program. Students must be the spouse or dependent of a military member who has been killed or disabled, is classified as a POW or MIA, or received a Purple Heart.
Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship
This award is for U.S. high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. Students must submit a short response and be selected as a semi-finalist to compete for the available scholarships.
