U.S. students attending medical school or who are enrolled in allied health careers with direct patient care and identified as having critical workforce shortages are eligible for this award. Currently, this limits eligibility to medical students, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and occupational therapists. Students must be enrolled in a Wisconsin institution.

Boren Scholarship Awards for International Study
This award is available to U.S high school graduates and undergraduate students who are planning to pursue a study abroad program. Scholarships are awarded with preference for countries, languages, and fields of study critical to U.S. national security.
AMS Named Scholarship Program
U.S. students entering their final year of undergraduate study in the upcoming fall semester are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher and be pursuing a degree in the atmospheric or related sciences.
